Lee James Glasel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee James Glasel of La Crosse, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Glasel and Viola Glasel (Schroeder); his sister Darlene Westcott of Wausau; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Westcott of Wausau, Oscar Haugsby of Racine, John Proell of Milwaukee, Virginia Haugsby of Racine, Bonnie Proell of Milwaukee and Shirley Dalton of Minneapolis.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bloom of Wausau; his children, Mark Glasel (Mardeana) and Nancy Clark (Joseph); his grandchildren, Troy, Tyler Glasel (Taylor Rowe), Haley Behrens (Ethan), Brianna Clark and Kendra Clark; and his brother-in-law Douglas Bloom (Mavis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the American Legion Post 52 of La Crosse and the First Congregational United Church of Christ music fund.
