She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Erickson and Helen Erickson (Betz); her husband Dick Nelson; her sister Ann Grandall; and her sibling's children, Kevin Grandall and Vicky Grandall.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Starch of La Crosse, Heather Pieper (Steve) of Sparta, Wis. and Ryan of La Crosse; her grandchildren, Emily Starch, Aiden and Addison Pieper; her sibling's children, Rick Grandall (Mona) of Holmen, Steve and Kathy Grandall of Sparta, Wis.; and her pets, Yogi, Lucy and Lily. She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Gundersen Oncology, Gundersen Hospice, or the Coulee Region Humane Society.
