She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Orville N. Hanson and Lurene "Dottie" Hanson (Lee); her husband Bruce A. Pertzsch; her children, Quintin (Rebecca) of Denver, CO and Turena Gilbertson (Scott); her grandchildren, Owen, Sacia and Berit of Holmen; her child Alexis McVietty (Mike); her grandchildren, Ella, Quinley and Andrew of Holmen; her siblings, Sherry Gumina of Spring Hill, FL and Carl Hanson of Stoddard, WI; her sisters-in-law, Susan Jostad (Kermit) of Holmen, Janet Knutson (Dennis) of McFarland, WI, Anita Evenson (Dave) of Holmen and Bette Pedretti (Rich) of Holmen; her parents-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Pertzsch; and her brother-in-law Charles Gumina. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Holmen Lutheran Church, Coulee Region Humane Society, or Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation.
