She was predeceased by: her husband L. Peter Groves; her brother Richard Sheehan (Mary Jane) of Rockford, Ill.; and her parents, Leslie Sheehan and Dorothy Sheehan of La Crosse. She is survived by: her children, Mark Groves (Mary) of Smyrna, Scott Groves of La Crosse and Shelly Groves of Avondale Estates; her grandson Max Groves of Atlanta, Georgia; and her siblings, Yvonne Smith of Ocala, Fla., Daniel Sheehan of Mankato, Minn. and Greg Sheehan of La Crosse.
