She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Paul and Louise Paul (Gilles); her husband William Robert Bartel; her son-in-law Michael Paremski; her siblings, Ruth Gianoli (Dave), Louise Schams (Don), Catherine Condes (Sam), Bishop John Paul, Raymond Paul (Mary), William Paul (Carol), Joseph Paul (Dorothy) and James Paul (Lucille); and her foster brother Francis Hays (Frances).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Kathy) of Onalaska, William (Kelly) of Woodland, Daniel (Julie) of Chico, Calif. and Anne Paremski of Holmen; and her brother Thomas Paul (Arlene) of Des Plaines, Ill.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bishop John Paul Scholarship Endowment Fund (P.O. Box 4004, La Crosse, WI 54602-4004), Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice, or St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral.
