He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Brown and Gladys Brown; his siblings, Steve, Dan, Doug Brown, Rick Brown (Christine), Renda Klingbeil, Tom Brown (Chris), Patty Stilwell (John) and Colleen Rask; and his sisters-in-law, Shelly Brown and Geri Brown.
He is survived by: his significant other Jean Stingl; his partner's children, Ashley, Travis (Morgan) and Jason (Jenn); his granddaughters, Brooklyn Medland and Scarlett Sergeant; and his children, Warren, Judson Stingl, Ellianna, Marni and Jocelyn Stingl. He is also survived by friends and many adoring nieces and nephews.
In 2021 he was awarded the Wisconsin Tavern League Presidential Award for outstanding dedication and Service to the Tavern League of WI and its members and in particular for his leadership shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
