It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle J. Briggs of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel A. Briggs. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Johnston (Sue) of La Crosse and Patrick Johnston (Kathy) of Three Lakes, WI.; her siblings, Shirley Ruoff of La Crosse, Laurel Halvorson of La Crosse, June Lanzel (Bill) of Onalaska, WI. and Phil Kleinschmidt (Marie) of La Crosse; her sister-in-law Janet Kleinschmidt of Onalaska; her grandchildren, Michael (Michelle), Eric (Alyssa), Matthew (Randi) and Jennifer (Brock); and her great grandchildren, Philip, Josh, Tate and Nicholas.
