He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jerome and Olene Jerome (Ellefson); and his brother Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Carley); his children, Laura, Linda, Jason (Cindy), Jonathan (Dani) and Jenee; his grandchildren, Brandon Beilke (Kaytlyn), Ciana Kroner (Karl), Teagan Horihan, Adaline Jerome and Esmae Jerome; and his great grandchildren, Russell, Addisyn, William Kroner, Edynn, Karrick and Kreighton Beilke.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI, the National Parks Foundation, or Wisconsin Public Television.
