She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Kovats and Rose Kovats (Kovacs); her parents-in-law, Ansel and Gladys Evenson (Nelson); her brother William; and her sister-in-law Ann.
She is survived by: her husband Merle A. Evenson; her children, David Evenson (Kimberly) and Donna Hoffman (Mike); and her grandchildren, Travis, Annika, Andrew and Ben. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Riverside Transitional Care Center, La Crosse, Wisconsin.
