He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Netzel and Ruth Netzel (Lemke); his brother Jack; his wife Deb; and his nephew Josh.

He is survived by: his daughter Delaine Netzel (Savanna); his grandchildren, Sam and Gladys; and his siblings, Lisa, Diane and David.
