She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nugent and Helen Nugent (Crane); her brothers, Clair, Bernard and Larry Nugent; her siblings-in-law, June Nugent (Bernard) and Dennis Thiele; her sister Lois; her brother-in-law Ladd Flynn; and her parents-in-law, Louis and Jesse Benish.
She is survived by: her husband Robert of Patrick's Catholic Church; her daughters, Ann Rudel of Sun Prairie, WI and Amy Thurow of Oshkosh, WI; her grandsons, Alex Rudel (Jackie), Kyle Gelhar-Thurow (Caitlin) and Kevin Thurow; and her siblings, Mary Thiele of Stoddard, Colleen Nugent of La Crosse, Dean Nugent (Mary) of Holmen and Owen Nugent (Mary) of Dubuque, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gundersen Medical Foundation for Oncology Research, or a charity of the donor's choice.
