He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner Maier and Florence Maier (Hoeth); and his wife Eva Diane (Roberts). He is survived by: his son Samuel Maier (Kendra); his grandchildren, Tony Maier (Brenda) and Tina Duerkop (Cory); and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Weston Maier, Emma and Ensley Duerkop.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eagles Club of La Crosse (630 6th St S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
