He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Alden and Helen Alden (Belan); and his siblings, John William Alden (Ruth) of Minnesota, Robert Alden, Joyce Heller, Patricia Karpenski and Janet Shay.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Bluske of La Crosse; his brothers, Earl Alden (Patricia) of Texas and Daniel Alden (Mary) of Minnesota; and his children, Scott Alden (Regina) of Tomah, Richard Alden, Jr. of Tomah, Isaiah Alden of Holmen, Annette Bennett (Dennis) of Oakdale, Tisha Alden-Bennett (Richard Quest) of Genoa, Robert Hosch of Holmen and Sara Hosch of Holmen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
