Richard J. Krause Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Krause (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 3, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Marquerite (Kriese); his siblings, Donald "Tutz", Alfred "Bud", Tom Krause and JoAnn Young; his close friend Judy DeLap; his son-in-law Ken Dawson; and his nephew Daniel Mitby.

He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Nelson; his wife Judy Rheineck; his children, Laureen Phillips (Tom), Penny Curnutte (Kenny Hanville), Sara Dawson (Scott Sherer), Rick Krause and Ron "Gopper" Krause (Kelly); his grandchildren, Benjamin Phillips, Bobbi Cragin (Rusty), Megan and Kaitlyn Dawson; and his siblings, Jackie McClintock, Judy Mitby (Geno), Gary (Dian) and John Krause (Joyce). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
