He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kruger and Louise Kruger (Vogel); his wife Colleen Golding; his siblings, Bernie (Dorothy), Donald and Helen Hulberg (Rudy); his daughter Maureen Steinke; and his granddaughter Alison Steinke.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia McGuire, Brian Kruger (Leanne) and Mark Kruger (Jane); his son-in-law Daryl Steinke; his granddaughter Nichole Schnettler (Pete); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Sawyer and Annyka; his granddaughter Sara Kessler (Brian); his great grandchildren, Emma and Lily; his grandsons, Hans Kruger (Jenny) and Jason Steinke (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Alana and Lainey; his grandson Seth Kruger (Deanna); and his great grandchild Wyatt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Freedom Honor Flight, one of the highlights of Bob's Life, or St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church, Stoddard.
