He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Wick and Dorothy Wick (Schoen); his brothers, Butch and Tom Wick; and his parents-in-law, Spencer and Janice Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson; his stepson Jason (Jeanie Stevens); his grandson Cody (Kennedy Skogen); his sisters, Mary Kolkind and Julie Bronkhorst (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Vera Wick, Sharon Goeke (Lee), Paula Johnson Woolley (Dan Ask) and Steven Johnson (Roxie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
