He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Gander and Ruth Gander (Hall); his siblings, Fay (Junior), Lorus and Shirley Eng (Marvin); his brothers-in-law, Rodney Spangler and Herb Peterson; his son-in-law Al White; and the mother of his children Sonja Lee Rosemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gander (Kathy), Vicki Stevens, Robert Gander (Melodie) and Lori Gander (Kevin); his sisters, Phyllis Spangler and Avis Peterson; and his brothers-in-law, Roy and Richard Rosemeyer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
