He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Weiking; his children, Jayne Sauerman (Rick), Patricia Thomas (Mark), Timothy Phelps (Brenda) and Barbara Besl (Scott); his grandchildren, Adam Flint, Kristofer Wolfe (Angelina Berreau), Alexandra Bauer (Ryan), Mitchell Thomas (Rubi), Andrew Phelps, James Phelps, Grant Birnbaum, Jack Birnbaum, Jordan Besl, Taylor Besl (Ryan Sprengeler) and Jacody Besl; his great grandchildren, Perry, Beau Bauer, Sebastian, Leo Thomas, Lila, Vayda Besl and Sprengeler; and his sister-in-law Lavonne Jahn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
