She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Shay and Isabel Shay; and her siblings, James Shay, Phyllis Butterfield and Donna Rattle.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Schroeder, James Schroeder (Lori), Gretchen Moen (David) and Kimberly Ryan (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Ethan, Declan Schroeder, Kylee and Noah Ryan; and her siblings, Barbara Biritz (Richard), Richard Shay, Barb Stetzer (James Shay), Patrick Shay (Patricia), Mary Lou Collins (Ron) and Scott Shay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
