He is survived by: his wife Karla Berg of La Crosse; his children, Kristen Rickert (Jon) of Viroqua and Joel Strangstalien (Randi) of Westby; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fellegy of La Crosse, Lyla, Arthur Strangstalien of Westby and Lilly Rickert of Viroqua; and his brothers, Brian Strangstalien (Susan) of Westby and Michael Strangstalien of Arizona.
