He is survived by: his former wife Joan Robinson; his wife Sue Smith Batell; his children, Dawn Batell Gonzalez (Louie) of Mundelein, IL, Brian (Amy), Mike (Maricris) and Mark; his grandchildren, Ben, Alli, Lily and Katelyn; and his in-laws, Ann, Kevin Grogan, Dick, Joyce Smith, Jack, Maria Smith and Martha Smith Mulgrew (Joe).
