With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Luehne (La Crosse, Wisconsin), born in Pepin, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Levi King and Christena King (Hei); her husband Richard Francis Luehne; her in-laws, Frank, Elizabeth Luehne and Beverly Geary; and her siblings, Gilbert, Donald, Bernard, Cletus (Joe), Lavern, LaRayne, Lila and Marjorie.
She is survived by : her children, Mona Bordini (Steve), Mary (Mark Hoffmeyer), Michael, Martha Stanley (Paul) and Mark (Tina); her sister Verneal Froystad; and her granddaughter Rachel Olson. She is also survived by her children, plus many beloved nieces and nephews.
