She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Olson and Ida Olson; her husband Marion Turner; her sons, Michael and Gregory; and her siblings, Carnes, Robert Olson and Ruby Simonis.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Christie), Steven (Leslie), Philip (Tina) and Mary Turner; and her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Turner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tragically she became a Gold Star Mother in 1968 when Michael was killed in Viet Nam, and again when Gregory died of Alzheimer's in 2024.
