It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Allen Hansche (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though William Allen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hansche and Ruth Hansche (Gardinier); and his brothers, Robert and James Hansche. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth "Susie" Grandin; his grandsons, Kurt Grandin (Cortney) and Alex Grandin (Astrid); his sister Judy Maas (Dan); and his great grandchildren, Parker and Jackson Grandin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Bill's name to a YMCA, a little league or high school baseball organization.
