He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Beckman and Ruth Beckman (Bouffleur); and his sister Ethel Peaslee. He is survived by: his former wife Suzann Hjelming; his children, Linda Bratager of La Crescent, Todd Beckman of La Crescent, Brenda Beckman (Dan Hundorf) of Caledonia, MN, Bonnie Paulson (Alan) of La Crescent, DeAnna Maertens (Nate) and Angela Beckman (Lucas Heineman) of Galesville, WI; his grandchildren, Melissa Schradley (John) of Manchester, CT, Nathan Bratager of La Crescent, Grant, Alina and Simon Maertens; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Alex Schadley; and his siblings, Sally Brudos of West Salem, WI and Richard Beckman of Onalaska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
