He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Pishaw and Arbutus Pishaw (Love); his sister Ann Thurmond; and his pets, Sugar and Mya.

He is survived by : his son Billy Pishaw (Jessi Littlejohn); his sisters, Sandy Oelke (Loren) and Kathleen Pishaw (Lorrae Swartz); his grandchildren, Kailee (Nick), Kristan (Kyle) and Rilan; and his great grandchildren, Aria, Nikia and Kylah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
