He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kelsiee, Austin Taylor, Bennett Hysel (Bucky), Hayden and Maddy; his wife Kathie Hysel; his daughters, Nichole Benson (Phil) and Holly Hysel; and his siblings, Steve Hysel (Barb Edwards), Carl Hysel, Pam Hysel and Sandy Hysel.
