It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen G. Phetteplace of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Flora; his former wife Anna Caproon; his children, Wayne Phetteplace and Linda Phetteplace; his son-in-law Mike Wright; his grandson Josh Larson; and his siblings, Arthur Phetteplace and Lorna Bratina.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jeff DeWall (Jude) of Conrath, WI, Jack DeWall (Peggy) of Cameron, WI, Joel DeWall of Ladysmith, LuAnn Larson (Jim) of Ladysmith, Wendy Wright of Marshfield, WI and Susan DeWall of Heines, AK; his sister Lorraine Santovi of St. Paul, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Mary MacArthur and Joann Vaughan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Js Supper Club (W9594 US-8, Ladysmith, WI 54848). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
