He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kahn and Clara Kahn (Brainerd); his former wife Karen Kahn; and his son John Edward "Ted" Kahn Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Sandy Kahn; his daughter Janet George (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kyle George (Erin), Jenna Biddell (Drew), Matt George (Kaylee) and Megan George; his great grandchildren, Everly, Hazell, Kaius George and Isla Biddell; his siblings, Ellis Kahn (Judy) and Ida Gaudio (late Bob); and his fiancé Gwelda Tucker.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
