He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Lorraine of Bruce; and his siblings, Wesley Ewald, Fritz Ewald, Jerry Ewald, Rose Worman and Lynda Westlund.
He is survived by: his daughter Erica Schley (Jeff) of Tony; his grandchildren, McKenzie and Cole; and his siblings, Michael Ewald (Michele) and Jean Ewald (Al Desotell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
