He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Bruns and Elisabeth Bruns; his daughter Cristina Newton; his son-in-law Tom Newton; his grandchildren, River and Theodore; his sisters, Katy Bruns (Monson) and Andrea Buzek; his brother-in-law Rob Buzek; and his siblings' children, Dana Keller (Joel), Claire Buzek, Benjamin Monson (Michelle), Jacob Monson (Lexi), Kyle Buzek and Alex Buzek.

In lieu, of flowers, donations can be made to Lake Geneva Side by Side (http://sidebysidelakegeneva.org) organization to continue to help the community with the same big heart as "Doc.".
