DeBruin and Josie Moeller-Gomez (Yendrys); his grandchildren, Myles Maxwell, Taylor Thron and Brayden Case; his stepgrandchildren, Makayla Neldner, Alex Gomez, Lucas Gomez, Maria DeBruin, Micah DeBruin (Anna) and Braden DeBruin; his stepgreat-grandson Adrian Sonny DeBruin; and his siblings, Edwina Case Skyles, Sheila Benner, Cullen McQuillen Case, Alexandra Kulseth (Robert) and Felicia Case Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
