It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel P. Schmidt of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, born in Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 72, on April 17, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyril "Squirrely" Schmidt and Delores Schmidt (Meidl); and his sisters, Cheryl VonRueden and Julie Schmidt. He is survived by : his siblings, Gary Schmidt (Christine), Ronald Schmidt (Claudia), Brian Schmidt (Kathy), Steve Schmidt (Kay Kasten) and Michelle Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Larry VonRueden. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Claussen Funeral Home (416 W Lake St, Lake Mills, WI 53551). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
