She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Baumgartner and Rebecca Baumgartner; her brother Fredric D. Baumgartner; her son John F. Samuelson; and her great grandchild Laney M. Pape.

She is survived by: her husband LeRoy O. Samuelson; her children, Carol Pape (Terry), Jeffrey Samuelson and Sara Poplawski (Rick); her grandchildren, Johnathan Pape (Michelle), Justin Pape (Briel), Amanda Tojek (Matthew), Kacy Poplawski (Jeffery Jones), Taylor Poplawski, Michael Oppermann (Cassie), Stephannie Oppermann (Steve Markowski), Kathryn Gottman (Austin) and Jeffrey Samuelson, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jace Tojek, Shayna Tojek, Silvia Pape, Lilah Pape, Paityn Pape, Karson Pape, Landon Oppermann, Christina Oppermann, Eleanor Gottman, Charles Gottman and Calvin Markowski; her brother John Baumgartner (Carole); her sister-in-law Sandra Baumgartner; and her nephews, Dean Baumgartner and Todd Baumgartner (Inessa).

In lieu of flowers Memorials in Sharon's honor can be made to Calvery Lutheran Church.
