He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Stelpflug and Margaret Stelpflug (Siepker); his son-in-law Daniel Hudek; his grandchildren, Tyler and Maggie McArthur; and his siblings, Cyril Stelpflug (Mary Ellen), Cletus Stelpflug (Eileen), Jeanette Johnson (Gene), Harold Stelpflug (Marie) and Robert Stelpflug (Joanne).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Weires; and his children, Karen Hudek, Dan "Ladder" Stelpflug (Denise), Tom Stelpflug, Kathy McArthur (Doug), Susan Trapp (Eric), Sandra Downs (Terry), Tim Stelpflug, Lisa Leis (Tony) and Terry Stelpflug (Amy). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and along with many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clement Catholic Church (135 S Washington St, Lancaster, WI 53813). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants, and flowers a memorial fund is being established and distributed to various organizations that were dear to Leo and his family.
