We announce the death of Linda Martin (Lancaster, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 85. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Wilkins and Ruth Wilkins (Knutson); her husband Roger B. Martin; her brother Gary; and her parents-in-law, Bernard and Mary Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Martin (Stacy) and Kristi Gildersleeve (Tom); her grandsons, Ian Martin, Garrett and Brennen Gildersleeve; her sisters, Mary Wilkins and Ann Van De (John); and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Durkis, Kay Wilkins and Lenolee Wilkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and the Knutson and Wilkins cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lancaster United Methodist Church (216 S Monroe St, Lancaster, WI 53813). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants, flowers and memorial gifts a Linda M. Martin memorial fund has been established with proceeds being given to local charities.
