With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul Nelson of Lancaster, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Paul left this world on April 22, 2026 at the age of 39, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barb, Maynard Nelson, Colleen Johnson, Bruce and Carolyn Johnson.
He is survived by: his mother Liz Schaal; his brothers, Aaron Nelson (Jessica), Brian Schaal, Matt Schaal (Jessica) and Jacob Schaal (Zell); and his nieces and nephews, Maddy Albert-Nelson, Zoe, Archer, Sterling, Hazel, Maple and Canyon Schaal. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
