He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Deneys and Esther Deneys (Morrow); his son-in-law Craig Hansen; his sister-in-law Lynette Deneys; and his brother Darle Deneys.
He is survived by: his significant other Irene James; his children, Connie Hansen, Gerry Deneys Jr. (Patti) and Rebecca Rose (David); and his siblings, Gary Deneys (Tina), Wendy Liebergen (Merlin), Rick Deneys (Cheryl) and Jeff Deneys. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
