It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland James Carroll of Leopolis, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Carroll and Arlene Carroll (Lewin); his wife Sabina Lou Ready; his brothers, Arlen "Bucky" Carroll, John Carroll, Thomas Carroll and Peter Carroll; and his son-in-law Douglas Fehrman.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Ann Lanucha (Joseph), Valerie Fehrman, Sabina Peters (Brian), Mary Creapeau (Michael), James Carroll (Annette), David Carroll, Patrick Carroll, Gregory Carroll, Thomas Carroll (Kim) and Vincent Carroll; and his close friend Janice Grosskopf. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Swedberg Funeral Home (518 W 5th St, Shawano, WI 54166). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (W11842 3rd St, Leopolis, WI 54948).
