She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Caygill and Fern Caygill; her husband Philip "Binks" Alton; her son Dennis; her parents-in-law, Byron and Ocea Alton; her siblings, Karen Bennett, Jeanette Otteman, Thomas Caygill, William Caygill and David Caygill; and her siblings-in-law, Dave Bennett, Vincent Otteman, Billie Caygill, Darlene Caygill, Margaret Caygill, Kerwin "Bud", Flo Alton, Ralph, Katie Steele, Harry, Marge Swanson, Norman, Betty Ketchum and Joan Elmore.
She is survived by: her children, Dixie Edge (Randy) of Linden, Kristy Spurley (Robert) of Linden and Robin Wienkers (Steven) of Cedarburg; her grandchildren, Dennise Ross (Adam) of Waupaca, Anthony Edge of New Glarus, Aaron Edge (Hannah) of Fitchburg, Ryan Spurley of Linden, Philip Spurley (Sarah) of Cottage Grove, Kyle Spurley (Molly) of Cuba City, Justin Wienkers-Alvendia (Alex) of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Wienkers of Fitchburg and Stephanie Wienkers of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Alton, Addison, Kaycin, Lux, Brynnlee, Nash, Booker, Bodhi, Autumn, Nathan and Calum; her brother Jack Caygill; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Caygill and Eddie Elmore. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Linden United Methodist Church, the Iowa-Grant School Lunch Fund, Second Harvest Food Bank, or a charity of your choice.
