He was predeceased by : his father Alfred; his children, Joan Sanderfoot (Raymond), Connie Brick and Steven "Brillo" Miller; his brothers, Alfred Miller (Betty), Jerome Miller, Hermie Miller, Robert Miller (Elaine), Eddy Miller and Earl Miller; his stepfather Clarence Wilkum; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Van Asten (Catherine), Ervin Van Asten (Alice), Art Van Asten (Bonnie), Dell Klingbeil, Bill Ambrosius, David Newbert and David Eick.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Eick; his children, Jean Van Wychen (Michael), Carol (Ronny) and Scott Miller (Kerri); his stepchildren, Robert Eick (Diana), Lori Marsicek (Dennis) and Paul Eick (Kay); his sister Rita Klingbeil; and his siblings-in-law, Mickie Miller, Nancy Miller, Ronald Van Asten (Ann), Germaine Ambrosius, Mary Newbert and Diane Gilsdorf (Leo). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
