Carol leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carol’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carol will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Calmes and Stella Calmes; her husband Thomas Leygraaf; her daughters, Laurie and Sherry; and her son-in-law Chad.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Ashley; and her daughter Cathy Long (Jay). She is also survived by her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home (101 Canal St, Little Chute, WI 54140). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
