She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone VerVoort and Maggie VerVoort (Evers-Gloudeman); her husband Urban Coenen; her children, Merle, Earl Coenen (Katie), Marlene Brittnacher and Diane Fox; her parents-in-law, John and Patronella Coenen; her siblings, Peter VerVoort (Ida), Harriet Van Zeeland (Joeseph), Delia Van Groll (William), Dora Van Groll (Henry), John VerVoort (Gladys), Henry Gloudeman (Mary) and Raymond VerVoort (Bernice); her in-laws, Lucy Diedrick (Peter), Norbert Coenen (Loretta), Clara Diedrick (Stephen), Otto Coenen (Marie), Mathilda Konrad (Louis), Elmer Coenen (Verna), Robert Coenen (Martha) and Barbara Van Groll (William); and her close friend Ves Vissers.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Frelich (Carl), Ken Coenen (Cori), Carl Coenen (Joan), Irene George (Bruce), Mark Coenen (Vicki) and Paul Coenen (Brenda); and her sons-in-law, Nick Brittnacher (Gail) and Robert Fox. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Cornelia's name.
