He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Dorn and Jannett Dorn; and his siblings, Ken Dorn (Jonnie) and Bernadette Gaffney (Phat). He is survived by: his wife Melba Dorn; his children, Sheila Arnoldussen, Michele Farrell, Julie Kressin (Randy), Connie Van Rossum (Mark), Rita Hurley (Jim) and Jannett Helwig; his grandchildren, Sonia, Karmen, Logan, Levi, Gregg of Krista, A. J., Ross, Brett, Troy, Emily, Abigail and Nathaniel; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Kramer (Fred) and Yvonne Van Zeeland. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1810 N McDonald St Unit B, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
