He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Janssen and Martha Janssen (Ebben); his wife Marjorie Leanna; his parents-in-law, Clem and Elvira Leanna (Marquardt); his siblings, Rosemary West (Dave), Marianne Schnabel (Larry), Sylvia Kuether (Ted), Les, Don (Cook), Orville, Roman (Bernice), Kenneth (Carol) and Paul Janssen; and his in-laws, Marlene, Jane Janssen and Joyce Micksch (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Dan Janssen, Michelle "Shelli" Boelter (Randy), Becky Rusch (Tim), Julie Wydeven (Todd) and Scott Janssen (Doreen); his grandchildren, Nathan Boelter (Stephanie), Amy Mielke (Brett), Nicole Bruch (Joel), Patrick Rusch (Allie), Josh Sprangers (Kara), Nick Janssen, Al Wydeven (Hailee), Aaron Wydeven (Hayley), Jake Janssen and Megan Roberts (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Shelby, Maisey, Peyton, Troy, Hazel, Henry, Jaxson, Maddox, Griffin, Milo, Arie, Mason, Hallie, RaeLynn, Nora and Harvey; his brothers, Pete and Joe Janssen; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey and Janet Janssen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
