He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Novak and Mary Jane Novak (Arndorfer); his mother-in-law Nancy Hermsen; his brother Jim Novak; his son-in-law Bill Vande Voort; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Novak and Paul Rochon.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Hermsen; his children, Jennifer Vande Voort, Angie Villarin (Neal), Casey Walker (Jason), Michael Novak (Jess) and Allen Smith; his grandchildren, Jordan Delvaux (Lesly), Alexandra DaGraca, Jack Delvaux, Nicasio, Caitlyn, Bennett Villarin, Soul, Nadia Dorsey, Sydney, Callum, Quentin Walker, Cali Stern, Lennon and Livia Novak; his great grandchildren, Naomie, James, Alex, Xavier and River; his siblings, Virginia Rochon and John Novak; and his father-in-law Reginald Hermsen.
