He was predeceased by : his wife Laurie Myers; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Sherry Van Lankveldt. He is survived by : his parents, Ernie Myers and Ann Myers (Dieter); his children, Erin Hietpas (Mike), Zach Pingel (Deanna), Jacob Myers (Daya), Logan Pingel and Leighton Myers; his grandchildren, Laine, Chance Hietpas, Maverick Pingel and Marnie Myers; his siblings, Kathy Vonckx (Joe), Beth Kolz (Bert) and Ed Myers (Paula); and his parents-in-law, Kris Fischer (Bill) and Brian Van Lankveldt (Jenny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.

He generously donated many hours volunteering in the Little Chute community, most notably MC-ing for the Diamond Club fundraiser.
