He was predeceased by: his father Ron Bernhard; his sister Angela; his grandparents, Lester, Bette Zedler, Carl and Gladys Bernhard; and his uncle Ron Schwenk.
He is survived by: his mother Karen Bernhard (Zedler); his brother Mike (Tammy); and his nieces, Samantha Mertens (Aidric) and Sabrina Bernhard (Brandon Evans). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
