He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Simpson and F. Leone Simpson (Ferguson); his former wife Beverly Gundlach (Lorraine); his son Raymond; his sons-in-law, Ron Muckler and Alan Knoble; his siblings, Inez Fry, Vivian Green, Marjory Jo Coy, Nina Simpson, Guy and Billy Simpson; and his stepson Kenneth Roessler.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Knoble of Lone Rock, Carmel Halverson (Bob) of Richland Center, Greg Simpson (Roxanne) of Lone Rock, Janet Muckler of Stoughton, Jeff Simpson (Amy) of Richland Center, Sarah Weber (Alan) of Richland Center, Brian Simpson (Jenny Brown) of Lone Rock, Becky Jacobson (Dennis) of Richland Center and Waylon Peckham (Candra) of Woodman; and his stepchildren, Marge Hooks (Gary) of Boaz and David Roessler (Cindy) of Troy, Montana. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren;Many great-grandchildren;Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel (120 N Park St, Richland Center, WI 53581). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at the Woodstock Cemetery.
