It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy L. Schmitt of Lowell, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon "Butch" Schmitt and Yvonne "Toby" Schmitt (Rennhack); his parents-in-law, Luanna and Walter Fenz; his brother-in-law Bill Kern; his nephew Tom Schmitt; and his niece Michelle Guenther.
He is survived by: his wife Christine K. Fenz of Mark's Lutheran Church; his children, Allan Schmitt (Kayla) of Waterloo, Alyssa, Henry, Lorelai, Natalie, Amy Panetti (Jay) of Waupun, Avery, Leo, Campbell, Teresa Stowell (Ralph) of Fox Lake, Wyatt, Oscar, Lucy, Oliver, Crystal Soldner (Brandon) of Lowell, Braxton, Milo, Kimberley Swanson (Kurt) of Middleton, Juniper and Viola; his siblings, John Schmitt (Sandy), Bonnie Guenther (Kenneth), Sue Ebert (Jerry), Nancy Hussli, Frieda Kern, Cindy Kadinger, Marilea Groves (Pat), Gina Oemig (Andrew) and Leon Schmitt (Annette); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Smithson (Bob) and Karen Grosenick (DuWayne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
